Programs and Exhibitions include: Analog/Digital from June 18 – August 19, Asser Saint-Val: The Melanin Project from June 1 – August 31, Dog Tales: Worlds and Images, Fact and Fiction from June 11 – August 23, Puppy Dog Tales: Stories and Images of Dogs and Other Critters from June 20 – August 9, The Language of Flowers through August 5, and The Sword and the Sorrow through September 15. The sixth page reads: The Miami-Dade Public Library System curates a year-round program of exhibitions, performances, lectures, panel discussions, and community art projects. All events are free and open to the public. The Library system also maintains a special collection of more than 2,200 works of art, including works on paper, photographs, artists’ books, and small sculptures, with a focus on African American, Latino and Miami artists.
