Description

Catalog for the MFA Thesis Exhibition Intersection at The University of Arizona School of Art, April 11 – May 18, 2003. The letter from the Director Dennis L. Jones reads: We are fortunate to have an opportunity with Joseph Gross Gallery in conjunction with the University of Arizona Museum of Art to afford our MFA candidates with an important and professional venue for their last academic requirement at the University of Arizona School of Art. The MFA Thesis Exhibition is an exciting and challenging part of the MFA degree program because the candidates direct, guide and install their own form of expression within this setting. The 2003 graduating class is an example of the quality and the dedication we encourage all students to aspire to. Exhibiting artists include: Jessica Broad, Raymond Curran, Matthew M. Johnson, Shelley Lawrence, Greg McLemore, Haley Morris, Damir Niksic, Kerry Phillips, and L. Aili Schmeltz.
