The back of the card reads: Tattered Cultures: Mended Histories presents ground breaking works by twenty international contemporary fiber artists. The exhibition is curated by University of Hawaii Assistant Professor and Fibers Area Chair Mary Babcock in collaboration with Academy Art Center Curator Carol Khewhok, and held in conjunction with the international Textile Society of America Conference September 24 – 27. Co-sponsored by the Academy Art Center, Honolulu Academy of Arts, The Textile Society of America, and the University Research Council, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
