Catalog of the exhibition, Threads: Interweaving Textu[r]al Meaning at the center for Books Art, July 8- September 12, 2009. The third page reads: The Center for Book Arts is delighted to present this year’s annual artist members exhibition, titled Threads: Interweaving Textu[r]al Meaning. Co-organized by guest curator Lois Morrison, artist and educator, and myself, this exhibition explores how actual thread is used as a design element to convey both content and form. Artworks featured in this exhibition represent a broad range of book and related arts, including books, sculptures, mixed media installation, and video. Thirty-five works by thirty-eight different artist are included.
